My husband and I have been married for almost twenty-eight wonderful years now. We met when Ken (my Honey) was working for the horse and carriage company my mother was running. Two years later in December we were married, and we had George, my favorite horse, and the town coach for a ride after the ceremony.
Two years later we had our first of ten children when I was twenty-one. We chose to homeschool our children, and have been schooling them for twenty years now. We later moved to Georgia, where we have lived for the last eighteen years.
Cooking, sewing and crafts are a few of the thing I enjoy doing. Just not enough hours in the day for them now, but one day maybe I will have more time for them. We also love to hike with our kids and many dogs, which we all spoil rotten.
Getting my family to eat better has been a goal I’ve had for quite a while. Some of my attempts are a major fail but some are a hit, which encourages me to keep at it. Healthy lifestyles are learned just as unhealthy ones; I would like to teach my family how to make better choices.
I ‘m a Christian and love God; I try to live the way he wants me to. I fail at times, but I get back up and try again. As with running, I keep working on it and I get better faster and stronger, God is awesome, He keeps me going day after day.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
